Areas of Support

The Heartland Hospice Memorial Fund meets its mission by supporting the following:

  1. Financial assistance for terminally ill individuals and their families who are:
    1. Experiencing financial distress due to the terminal diagnosis, and
    2. Unable to pay for basic needs
  2. Bereavement resources for libraries, schools and support groups
  3. Grief camps for those who have lost a loved one
  4. Community awareness events that communicate the importance of hospice and end-of-life care issues to the public
  5. Education about hospice care for medical professionals
  6. Research projects seeking to improve hospice care
