The goal of hospice care is to provide physical, emotional and spiritual support for terminally ill patients and their families by promoting dignity, comfort and peace.
The goals of the Heartland Hospice Memorial Fund, a non-profit charity, are to help relieve the financial pressures experienced by patients and their families coping with terminal illness and its aftermath, and to provide community education and bereavement resources for those suffering the loss of a loved one.
